[Day 36] Video Call to Everyone
[When the call begins, the feed is upside down - the man holding it is staring down at it, dark brows quirked in curiousity. Turning it around, he brings the camera right up to his face - close in on his jet-black eye - then pulls it away again, at arm's length. He blinks a couple of times, canting his head somewhat childishly...before grinning a wide, lopsided grin.]
...Helloooooo out there. Just found the letter - FANCY THAT, I've got a new house! Do I have any neighbors? Hm? Anyone I might borrow a cup of sugar from?
[It's hard to tell what exactly he means by that - he goes quiet for a moment, moving around, the camera swinging around...and then suddenly he's back onscreen, holding the phone out at arm's length...clearly lying back on his bed and holding the phone towards the ceiling. He's somewhere in his mid-thirties, it seems, with a youthful way about him - youthful, but...odd.]
Comfy beds, that's important. Going to need that. Everyone have comfy- ooh - a mint!
[He's just noticed the mint on the pillow - he reaches up to pluck it from its resting place, unwrapping it with one hand and popping it into his mouth.]
So...is there anybody I should be bringing a Jello mold to? The town seems AWFULLY quiet...but since there was a charming fruit basket, I'm going to guess that there's other people out theeeeeeeeeeere....
