Day 34: Call to everyone or whoever is listening

Jan 15, 2011 18:36

[Whoever is looking at their phone at the moment will see an elf with an unreadable expression on his face. Well, it's unreadable because he is slightly confused at this device that he has been tinkering around with since he got here. He is staring at it for a few moments, as if waiting for something to happen before he finally speaks.]What? No ( Read more... )

Would you prefer there to be traps or an ambush?

[Pfft, and he finds out that his post was heard by everyone. Ah, well. At least the voice of this reply is rather lovely (not to say that Cousland's isn't~).]

Oh, I don't have much of a preference. Isn't it the usual, generous amount of both?

The usual for what?

Traps and ambushes. I usually expect both at the same time.

Do you get in a lot of situations where that happens?

Indeed! I consider myself lucky for getting in and out of those quite easily. What about you, miss? Surely you must have exciting adventures of your own.

I'm not certain if I'd consider getting in them lucky. [The use of the word miss has made Mitsuru realize she hasn't introduced herself, which is rude.] I apologize, it was rude of me to not introduce myself to begin with. I'm Mitsuru Kirijo. [She pauses.] Yes, one might say that most of my "adventures" have been ...exciting.

[He chuckles.] It's true, it's not fun all the time. But good things can arise out of such situations, such as being alive. The loot is sometimes good too.

Mitsuru? [He has never heard of a name like that before.] A lovely name for a woman such as yourself, I'm sure. I am Zevran, Zev to my friends. Where do you hail from that consists of such adventures?

[...] The loot...?

It's nice to meet you Zevran-san. I'm from Japan.

Not everything is worth taking, but every other trinket can fetch a good amount of coin.

I have never heard of Japan, let alone been there.

I...see. [She didn't really get what loot was at first, but now she's pretty sure she does.]

How have you never heard of Japan?

[He's only being practicalDON'TJUDGEHIMEVERYBODYDOESIT!]

Have you heard of Antiva?

bufudynes January 18 2011, 03:10:54 UTC
No...how is this possible?

tentassassin January 18 2011, 07:15:45 UTC
Indeed. How have you not heard of Antiva? [Okay, he's just playing around but seriously what the heck.] Perhaps your land is beyond Thedas, though I have never been that far off.

[She pauses, she's seriously considering these things okay.] Seeing how I haven't heard of Thedas either, I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps we come from...[she pauses again because seriously this isn't normal] from different worlds.

[See, if this was still Thedas, he would just laugh. But...this is not Thedas. Ah, he wasn't so sure about being from "different worlds" but if that's how things are...] That is possible. I have talked with other people and they have said...things that I do not recognize, such as your Japan.
