[The former program's face appears on the screen, pale and unblinking.] What happened last night? [A long pause, and then she shakes her head.] Never mind. Whatever that dream - that nightmare - was, I just hope it doesn't happen again.
But I saw the sun rise this morning. [The ghost of a smile touches her lips.] And the library has been rebuilt. Even the mess in my bedroom is gone.
I know it won't last. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy it while we can, right? [And, unable to help herself, she breaks out in one of her typical big grins of old. It's been a while since she's smiled like this, and it feels good.]
