Since sleep seems to insist on eluding me, I suppose I may as well post this. Fair warning, this is going to cover multiple issues, and probably ramble horribly in the process. I haven't been sleeping as well as I might since I got here

That's not necessary - I can find the phone book and look you up. Or you could, for that matter. Either way, I'd avoid going outside - I don't think the monsters can get into the houses. Gladiolus... lovely. Far enough away to be a problem.

Apart from the zombies, anyway. Speaking of which, have you taken care of yours yet?

It's helpful, yes. Could be useful when we're actually trying to get things organized - we can see who's alone, things like that.

Mm, that is true. Do you know if there are any children in town yet? I think it'd be in their best interests if we worked on moving them to safer places first.

Of course it hasn't! While my healing spells are a bit more familiar than light magic, they do still work. particularly on those awful monsters.

That's good to hear, but I was also worried because magic here seems to be so draining.

It is. I have been conserving my energy and only using magic when I really need to--I don't know if it's been helping or not...

Well, it should keep you from getting overtaxed, at least. I'm mostly worried about using too much magic too quickly. I managed to do that back in Elibe once; Master Pent wouldn't stop checking up on me for days after that. It would probably be a lot easier to do here.
