I really hope when this fog passes, maybe... at least maybe, there's something normal around here to do. That's terrible with what happened to the library, I was really hoping to read and stay over there more often.

Something happened to the library here? Hm, that's a shame. I suppose if the monsters go away when the fog lifts we can see if there's something we can do about that.

Maybe, I would like to. Records on this town are hard to come by and they should exist.

So the library is the only place in town with anything resembling records about it? That seems... wrong.

I don't know, but it still seems odd. If only because only keeping one copy of something that important seems like a bad idea. Were the records at least any help when the library was still intact?

I don't know, I haven't gotten that far that far yet.

Hm, pity. Not that I blame you; I don't doubt there were plenty of other things that needed attending to even before our friends outside turned up. Do you know if anyone got any farther?

The main roads loop right back into town, the forest is too dense, and I wouldn't even dare venturing out to the ocean.

With the records, I meant. I figured out the road wouldn't help about the point where it turned from a game trail to that asphalt stuff everyone covers roads with on Earth.

I really couldn't find much in the library and I was making a lot of trips to and from. And the... librarian wasn't helpful. [Not to mention, he had a very uncomfortable aura.]

Hm. I see. Is he a local or someone else who's been pulled here?

He can't be someone that's lived here before, he's just not talkative.

All right. If he's another resident he's probably got a house, so presumably he doesn't just live there - has anyone seen him since the library was destroyed?

I'm not so sure, he didn't sound to happy that the library was destroyed. I think he was staying there or something. He's really pale and has white hair, so he should stick out like a sore thumb.

Possibly less so to me than most people. We have some rather odd hair colors where I come from.

[On second thought, Misaki, perhaps saying something about an aura is bad. Not only does it sound nuts, that man is kind of intimidating.]

Not where I'm from. White hair tends to be associated with the paranormal in my culture.
