[Normally he wouldn't make massive phone calls; He'd just blog. The water that has been pouring in from his roof since yesterday has made that somewhat of an issue, however.
He feels a touch ashamed, yes.
In the background there's a constant sound of pouring water. You know those fountains with speakers that play natural sounds? It's like one of those playing 'babbling brook' or 'summer shower' on the highest volume after having the pressure pumped up to 11.]
As delightful as indoor swimming pools are, they're so much better when the water is heated.
And filtered.
That is, to say, this has gone on long beyond the point of ridiculousness.
I've heard talk of going to a myriad of places to escape the rain or flooding. The forests, the library, the Community Centre... All of which present their own individual pros and cons.
Which brings me to wonder. Where is everyone planning to evacuate to? We cannot stay in our houses or we risk drowning or hypothermia in the frigid night. Everyone must find some place to flee to.
But where of those choices is the wisest?
