[ day 46; open video call ]

[As before, Zelda is calm - a little pale and tired, perhaps, but who isn't a little worse for wear right now?]

What food I have, I shall take to the hospital, along with the other supplies I managed to salvage from the house. If aught is needed - be it provisions, or healing - then I shall be there for you.

Oh, there you are Miss Zelda! I'd like to ask a favor please. I'm unsure as to where Dr Wesker is at the moment but...it seems that the hospital is caught in the flooding. Hope and I plan to scout the lighthouse, and some of the surrounding higher ground to see if we can move some of the supplies here.

Could you look after the hospital while we're searching?

I apologise for my quiet. I have been attempting to test the boundaries of my power.

[A small smile in greeting, then serious once more. She gives a nod.

And she certainly doesn't show the chill that runs through her when he mentions Wesker.]

I shall do so. The hospital may still be victim to the damage, but it is likely stronger built.

Oh, it's quite all right Miss Zelda. My apologies if I've been rude!

Um, I'm hoping the hospital can be a refuge in the meantime. I mean...the houses aren't in very good shape.

[She smiles briefly, shaking her head.] Not at all.

[And then more business like, she nods.]

That was my hope. The hospital suffers damage too, but it ought to be easier looked after.

My...roommate's... [The word 'roommate' thrown out like it's an insult.] ...been fucking quiet since the dream, and if you met the old lady you'd know how weird that is, and the other guy ain't doing too well either. [And then there's a bit of a sigh.] Unless you know where a girl named Clover is, I don't think you can help.

I have not met anyone of that name - could you tell me what I ought to be looking for? I've had little chance to see many of my fellow residents.

...don't bother. I wasted a bunch of time looking for her, no reason you oughta waste some more. But...she's a teenager, pink hair, has a temper, dresses like a schoolgirl for damned if I know what reason. Clover's been gone for a week, though, so she's probably dead or somewhere we can't get at.

I shall keep watch, regardless. It is never wise to undermine the possibility of the unlikely, in places such as these.

Oh, gracias a Dios.

Thank you so much for volunteering to help out, Zelda. I'm Blue Beetle--I've been trying to keep some houses from flooding, but I haven't been having any real luck so far. Let me know if you get anybody asking for help and I'll gladly give you a hand...giving THEM a hand.

[She smiles.]

You are most kind, sir. I do not wish to leave the houses without aid, but it may well be an easier to keep the hospital more controlled... We must not give up, however. I am sure it is not wholly in vain.

Just doing what I can. No big deal.

Do you want me to take you to the hospital? I agree, it's going to be really important that we keep it safe and dry in case people get hurt somehow. And, uh, I can fly, so I can take you there no problem.

'Give up' is totally a phrase not in my vocabulary. We're going to get through this one way or another.

Even little deeds are not to be overlooked. By just doing what you can, you do more than you know.

As for my part, that - would be greatly appreciated. I admit, I was rather lacking in a plan. [brb trying to use table as a raft?]
