 So, it's been a few days and there's still no sign of this Iceman. But the weather's warmed up considerably, and there's plenty of water around...

[There's a pause, and you can practically hear the gears grinding in her head.]

...you think he melted?

But it's a possibility. The temperature outside is well above the melting point of ice - and with the rain, anything that's frozen won't last very long.

It's hard not to when we don't even know what we're guarding against. The dream wasn't exactly specific.

He said he'd live a bigger mark then he when he came. What if it's the flood? Or...he'll strike when it's melted?

That's assuming he ever showed up at all. We never did get that first "mark", did we?

True. It could be subtle, or it could have never come at all.

Then I hope he has the decency to wait until after all this water clears up. I'm not about to deal with a flood and an abominable snowman.

It wouldn't be safe to assume that a sentient puddle of water is any less dangerous than a sentient block of ice in the shape of a man.

Let's just hope he doesn't get into the drinking water.

...when you put it that way, he sounds even more dangerous. And here I thought it might be a good thing.

It's hard to say for now, but I'm sure we'll deal with the problem when it arises. In the meantime, just try to be careful.

Perhaps it didn't mean anything at all, maybe it was just meant to scare us.

That's what the evidence suggests so far. But I don't trust this place to let us off so easily, especially after going through all the trouble of showing us those dreams.

I don't trust it either, but nothing has come of yet. Perhaps it was a warning to something further in the future.

Much further in the future, I hope. As in, after we're all far away from this place.

...Iceman? Who is this Iceman?

Something that was supposed to show up in the blizzard, but never did. It was in a dream we all had one night: some guy in a bar claimed that the Iceman came during especially bad storms.

Must have been before I got here...were there any other details?

The dream said that he'd leave a mark when he arrives, and an even bigger one when he leaves. But that's about it - we weren't given any descriptions, or anything even remotely helpful.
