Day 44 - A helping hand....

Feb 27, 2011 23:30

Who: Mary Lightly, OPEN
When: Day 44, Mid-Afternoon
Where: 123 Black-Eyed Susan Drive
What: Mary has offered to help with the food shortage as best he can - in return, perhaps, for some unwanted tins of sardines and a little help with the leak in the basement.
Rating: PG, PG-13 if people get mouthy.

It made sense.

He was new to town with a kitchen full of food and a need to get his bearings better. The rest of the town had a food shortage, and hopefully some handy people. Generally, Mary was a somewhat introverted person...or at least, he didn't go out of his way to be social. Still...he knew he didn't need this much food, and it would be stupid to let it go to waste.

Besides, maybe he could get a read on the townsfolk. Try and work out what kind of people were here.

He sat on his doorstep, leafing in his limp-wristed way through the phonebook and noting the names. Not having anything to change into, his clothes were still rumpled and bloodstained over the chest - but at least now he had neatened his hair a little. Still...he looked a bit...eerie, with his pasty skin and his light eyes.
