Day 43 - Quite Contrary

Where: 123 Black-Eyed Susan Drive
What: A newcomer to town needs help, and a couple of people have volunteered to come help.

Well, that phone call had been interesting.
He had gotten a few responses, met a few people - but most importantly, someone had volunteered to come help right away. Presently, he sat on his couch, slumped awkwardly against the cushions as he waited for them to arrive. His chest hurt with every breath, his ribs throbbing whenever he moved.
So he avoided moving. The front door was unlocked, and he sat playing with his phone, waiting for help to arrive.
Maybe he could find out where he was.
Or at least be sure he wasn't dead.
