As soon as he stepped away from the computer, he grabbed a bag he'd kept from shopping at S-Mart and started backing easy things in it, bread, lunch meat, stuff someone who obviously didn't understand the importance of eating could manage to make a sandwich out of at least.

He also grabbed some other ingredients, beef strips, noodles, and other flavorings. It wasn't much, but he knew when a guy needed a hot meal, and damn it, Coyote was getting one, whether he liked it or not. Sometimes he hated giving a shit.

He knocked.

The door was swung open to reveal the older man looking down his nose at Shinjiro. Not that Coyote was that much taller than the young man, but his body seemed to subconsciously make itself seem bigger or taller upon meeting a stranger whether said person was just a teenager or not.

Coyote gave the bag in Shinjiro's hand a curious look. "What you got there, huh?"

He offered the bag filled with sandwich-making stuffs to Coyote, looking up at the taller man but somehow still managing to glare from beneath hooded brows. "Food. You ever use the kitchen?"

"Sure I did," Coyote replied with a huff, taking the bag from Shinjiro. "Not much, though."

He peered into the bag, almost suspiciously, checking its contents briefly before closing it again and raising it with a mumbled thanks. It wasn't a very polite habit, but he couldn't help but be wary of everything and anything that he wasn't familiar with, especially when it was a friendly gesture. He blamed his upbringing, of course.
