Vidding!
After a long absence, during which the following happened:
*the power cord for my external hard drive broke and a replacement was not available.
*i got a new, better computer
*this new computer was not compatible with my previous video-converting software
*when i got new software, it crashed my editing program
*i built up a backlog of songs I HAVE TO VID
*i bought movies I HAVE TO VID
now, i found the perfect software! it doesn't crash my program, it makes my .vob files into awesome .xvids! UNFORTUNATELY, it's a free trial of DivX, and when the trial's over i'll have to purchase it. sad face.
i'm now simultaneously working on five vids: for the Dead Like Me movie, Star Trek Reboot, Doctor Who, Chuck, and a GEEKFEST vid.
I WILL NOT MAKE A 'IN MY BONES' BY LAUREN SHERA VID TO STAR TREK. (lyrics: "in my bones i have the strength of my mother and my father's pride. i will run if i see no other way to avoid colliding."
also because these lyrics: "oh baby you are wild and unruly, like my curly hair when i wake" could totally show Spock for wild and unruly and Kirk for curly hair because OBVS BOTH ARE NEITHER. like saying "you're as sweet as a lime, baby."
