I looked out of my window this morning
Saw nothing I wanted to see
Just cloudy skies and brown, brown grass
When will spring come to rescue me?
I looked out of my window this afternoon
The rain came pouring down
Everyone is hiding out inside
Listening to the thunder's sound
I looked out of my window this evening
And nothing has changed much
The storm is still pounding outside
It seems to have lost its touch
I looked out of my window late tonight
The skies have become clear
The moon is shining down so bright
Leaving me with nothing to fear
I looked out of my window the next morning
And I was quite relieved
The grass was beginning to turn green
I was happy with what I'd seen
I don't have a title for it just yet, one will come to me soon. I don't know if I'm going to be ready to perform it Saturday, I'll decide there.
