Working on a Sho/Chisato fic (thank you, episodes 7, 8 AtaDan. Thank you) and other bunnies in the lab, I promise, but as always with this comm, some Sweet Power news and amusing "It's THAT guy!" six degrees fun.
Nakamura Yuichi (not to be confused with KATTUN's NakamarU Yuichi), though Nakamura amusingly was a part of JE's Johnny Jrs. until he realized he preferred acting over being forced to sing in bedazzled jumpsuits, so he left to become a D-BOY, where most of the last few Kamen Riders have originated from. Next HY essay: Japan loves the Kamen Riders, because who doesn't love a cute man who can turn into a giant mecha robot/bug/vampire and save the earth Japan from imminent danger? Or possibly not.
ANYWAY,
Nakamura will be supporting Nanami Sakuraba in her first lead role in a dorama serial,
Futatsu no Spica (Twin Spica). Daito Shunsuke (Sano's little brother from Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, Crows Zero I & II, etc, etc.) will be playing the role of her classmate who has secretly yearned for her, so awwwwww there. Meanwhile, Nakamura will be token guy with orange/auburn hair who is the laid back, easy going character, because every jdrama needs one of those.
He's worked with Nanami previously in the double feature film Taiikukan Baby (Gymnasium Baby) which was a light hearted romp through the forbidden love found in a boy's swim team locker room.....possibly. I fell asleep watching it, so I'm the last person to ask.
But, Taiikukan was double featured with the shojo/less BL film Dokyusei, also starring the same actors from Taiikukan, but focusing on the relationship between Nakamura's character (Jun) and Mirei Kiritani's character.

Both movies are being subbed by
crimsonnataku, although currently only Taiikukan Baby is
finished. Nanami's other project of note is appearing in
Koishite Akuma, the romance/highschool/fantasy/comedy project starring one of the wee JE.
Meanwhile, Meisa's steadily working and
kicking ass (because the best thing to do after a loved one dies is to get back immediately into living and continuing on). She knows how to sword-fight and dance in high heels.
