well, i am not claiming to be a farming guru, but i do know that not all climates/regions are temperate enough to allow for a "specific" combination of vegetables, or grains. and i am not 100% on this, but i think the soy that grows in different parts of the united states has been modified to do so, and are not native to those lands...another thing many regions can't rely on(outside resources being introduced). i am not saying that any of the above is wrong or not healthy or impossible. but i am also not saying that any of it is right or the only way. however, i do think it is ridiculous to assume that all areas and peoples in those areas have the same means to provide for themselves.

eating unfertilized eggs is not local speciesism. speciesism is the exploitation and misuse of other animals and organisms (including plants). chickens eat compost (food waste), they poop wonderful fertilizer for the land, and lay unfertilized eggs (which provide nutrients). ducks also do this. they do this on their own, and are not forced to do so (yes, sometimes they are, and that is "speciesist"). if anything eating their eggs is resourceful.

and if you have any information or articles on the vegan foragers in the woods, i would be interested in reading them.
