Awwwh how cute!!

I am probably moving to Raleigh instead of Europe. (Well, not exactly in Raleigh, probably Johns(t)on County.) What do you like and not like about it? Are there lots of shows? Anything I should know?

hey. i really like raleigh a lot. but it is a city in which life is what you make it. but if you expect it to hand you lemonade, you'll just end up with lemons and be constantly disappointed.

it has some really beautiful green spaces, and i've developed some good relationships with a few people here.

when it comes to shows, it depends on what you're looking for in a show. there's the occassional punk house show, and it's close to durham and chapel hill which also have good shows.

sometimes it's discouraging if i over analyze everything. a lot of ways that i like to live are not convenient here. but it's managable and i think i enjoy the struggle.

i think the one thing to know about raleigh and surrounding area is to not have any expectations. and to re-evaluate and redefine things to make them satisfy you. but i also think that is how everywhere is.
