How I'm Spending Halloween
Celebrated by dyeing my hair like Wednesday Addams, unintentionally. But at least I can throw together a costume pretty quick in case something good (and free) comes up tonight. I'm not really into Halloween anymore. I don't like drinking and I don't like drunk people in large quantities. Might go to the Butch vs Femme show if it's not 21+.
Woke up early and drove around with Jaxon before he had to be at work. Now I'm lounging at his house in Orangevale -- spent a few hours outside on the lawn with Jackson the Dog, smoking and rereading Invisible Monsters, revelling in the last few warm days of the year. We chased the ducks and watched them splash in the pond that Jaxon's dad built a few weeks ago.
Our new home on 25th is beautiful. I want to paint and then have a housewarming party. I'll make bruschetta and canapes and tapas, oh my.
Jaxon pointed out to me last night that I will never not have a roommate again. And neither will he. And it's so exciting.
P.S. We've been Googling places we might want to get married. Great American Music Hall?
