Work, V-ball, RibFest, and Fall....
Well tonight was quite interesting to say the least. Actually it was a pretty good night at work until our charting systems went down. So yeah we ended up writting everything by hand. Funny how reliable we have become on technology. It was sort of nice to go back to "old ways" for a while.
Indoor Volleyball for the year started tonight. I have decided that I am going to play and will just wear my brace. I am sick of sitting out and not playing. The only thing that I will have to be aware of is not jumping when I spike. But that is ok cause it will give me time to perfect my tipping... *evil grin*. Buzz said that we have two new people on the team this year: a man and a woman. Should be interesting to meet. I can't wait to start playing again.
This weekend is Oshawa RibFest. I can't wait to go. I am so glad that I was able to get this weekend off. It is going to be nice just to get out and be in an environment that I am comfortable in. I think that Buzz was thinking of camping somewhere as well this weekend together but we really haven't talked to much about it. I think it would be a good idea seeing that we both have satI , sun, and mon off together.
I was also walking down my street today and noticed the lovely trees that line our street. Big, strong and ... changing. There was this one tree that all the leaves were orange and yellow already and had fallen around the base of the trunk. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FALL!!!! It is my favorite time of year because it reminds me of growing up and how much fun I use to have. Fall for me was harvesting with friends who lived on farms. It was bike rides through parks and trails. It was field parties. It was puff ball hunting. It was duck hunting. It was riding on 4 wheelers through forests. I was doing wood. Not to mention I get to bring out my sweaters/coats!!! Whooo hooooo. If there is one thing that I love it is being cozy and warm. The more layers the better I say. Maybe this is why we have chose to get married in Sept. It's just beautiful all round.
