Black and White with color, tutorial

The computer I have is a macbook, and I use photoshop 3.0 and I have an add on program called OnOne Essentials.

This shouldn't matter. but if you are new to photoshop and don't know how to make a black and white picture with color on it, here you go..

1) open up the image you want to edit, it must be color. I repeat, the starting picture must be ( Read more... )

Sooo, the paintbrush tool in black will bring back the original color? Who knew? :-p

haha don't fret my dear, i think its mostly a mac thing. plus i don't like saving all the changes. and also certain sites i.e. myspace, photobucket, ect. wont accept the file when I do Save As, even if it is JPEG. again, i think its a mac thing. so i got used to doing it for everything, and it still saves a copy to my desktop or file, so it feels the same.

its easier to work with for me.
