Thanks to the wonderful tinkerbelled, I can hopefully finally post pictures of the coin purse I made. Here it goes *crosses fingers*

I took the material from and old shirt, folded it into a tunnel shape, flipped the bottom portion inward, sewed it from the inside, then I took the side and connected it to another part of the material. And there you go.
