You are not creepy whatsoever.
You're not the only one who can't figure out the opposite sex.
And there are some people, not all, but some people who really are just overly friendly..not because they don't mean it, but I think they are a little socially akward, so they always feel the need to encourage. It doesn't mean they are not sincere, they are, but they just don't realize they come across as fake. I have to swallow my pride and be just as nice to those people when I'm not in the mood for them. But I know what you mean, you just have to try not to let it get to you.
