they called me back last week, we met on monday
we meet again thursday to discuss all the precious details
including how much they'll pay me and what my insurance is
immaculate office
i'm assuming the salary will be nice
they are pretty much a monopoly in that industry
it's a multi-billion dollar industry
so i think they could fork over a little for me
the offices are located next to nobu (uber-chic japanese celebrity spot)
and surrounded by investment firms
so there's a lot of eligible bachelors out there during my lunch break
i also like the fancy 5th avenue address, but i digress
my parents are on vacation and have considered selling the house to live down south
as we all know, the market is insane and look what it's done to real estate
it would be a smart move if they did
our house was appraised recently and it's in a good place right now to sell
it appraised for a lot more than what they purchased it for
i don't think it will really happen
but if it did, it wouldn't really affect me anyway
i'm looking at apartments now back in manhattan
i've had my fun here, but let's face it, this is where you live if you have a family
i don't have one and i really, really don't want one for a long time
that changes on a daily basis, but i do want to work and have my own career
i didn't go to school for all this time to have a career for 3 years
and then just be a mom
no, i want it to span for awhile, i don't want to give that up, it's all i ever wanted
anyway, apartments are so easy to find right now, everyone is leaving
i promise to be really critical this time
