First of all, this story fascinates me purely for the "holy shit, what the hell would you do in that situation?" value.
Second of all, I just think it's a little funny that science seems to be going full-circle and coming back to physiognomy (if a more refined version). I'm not saying that I doubt the credibility of neuroscience-driven research on criminal behavior and psychopathy, because from what I've heard so far I'm fairly convinced. I just can't help but find it a little ironic.
