There isn't a lot to report, but I will say that my weekend ended on a high note. I had the surprise of two friends showing up to catch the matinee performance of Around the World in 80 Days. David and Steve brought my friends-who-came-to-see-me total up to three. I was ecstatic that they came, and I'm even more ecstatic about David's high compliments that he has made about the show and myself on his blog.
But, the fun really came afterwards when we (meaning David, Steve, and me) went through an evening stroll in downtown Mt. Dora, looking at antiques--some of which were fabulous and some of which were downright terrifying. And the highlight of the time I spent with the boys was when Steve "accidentally" ran into a hugh display of wind chimes on the sidewalk. David walked briskly away feigning lack of acquaintance and I just laughed for a good five minutes. Laughed to the point where I could barely breathe and tears were flowing freely down my cheeks. Definite good times. And as we were walking towards David's car, a nice gentleman and his wife looked at me and said "What's going on, Phileas?" I knew it would happen. I was recognized on the streets of Mt. Dora.
Well, Kristen Neander and Ashleigh Teicher will be in the audience on Friday night. It will be fabulous to see them, of course!
That's all for now!
