Dear City of Boston,
Please learn where I live.
My apartment building opened in 2006; I moved in in July 2007 and immediately changed my voter registration to my new address. The issue is that the building has three separate addresses as it encompasses an entire city block: 1365 Bo. (my address), 150 Br., and 180 Br.
In the February primaries, the 1365 Bo. address was not even on the rolls. I was listed under 150 Br., even though my voter registration card shows my real address.
Today, another primary day, I was listed under 180 Br. 1365 Bo. was at least an option this time, but not for me.
The nice pollworker folks are super frustrated about this. Since 2006, there have been MANY city/state/federal elections and ample opportunities to update the voter rolls to at least include the addresses where people live. I have been instructed to fill out yet another registration form, this time putting 180 Br. as my former address and 1365 Bo. as my new address. Apparently this will fix the problem once and for all.
We'll see come November.
P.S. Don't get me wrong--I love voting! I am such a nerd about elections, even the piddly city ones. I just want them to find my ballot when I go in there!
