Charming.

Who, pray tell, am I speaking with...?

Satan himself. I'm Deacon Frost.

Unfortunately, mister Frost, I hold little personal faith in devils.

Sherlock Holmes.

Charmed.

Chaaarmed, dahling, chaaarmed.

[Brits amuse Deacon, with their silly little accents.]

I had no idea humans these days are so cruel to their kids. Sherlock Holmes, really?

Personally, I find "Sherlock" to be no more unfortunate than "Deacon".

[His mother was a saint!]

At least it doesn't rhyme with "shamrock". Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Slant rhyme, you mean.

Bless the Irish.

Whatever.

[Fuck slant rhymes.]

What time period you from, anyway? No Brits I know are all proper like you, and I know some pretty damn old Brits.

Victorian.

[So he has been told.]

And judging by your mannerisms, I'd say you're more of a... "modern" American?

1999, baby.

[Victorian, are you serious?]

So you buddies with Jack the Ripper or Dracula or what?

Reply

hellofadrug March 20 2010, 02:49:56 UTC
Unfortunately, the Ripper case was a botched job by Yard - Jack and I have yet to meet.

[However, Bram Stoker's Dracula was published in 1897 - Holmesy here hails from 1891.]

Dracula?
