“Mr. Policeman!” Jude’s high pitched, excited voice filtered through the line. She sounded
groggy and Castiel realized she must have just woken from the drugs, “The doctor said I can
go home tomorrow.”
“That’s right,” Castiel smiled, “Tomorrow morning.”
“I don’t have a home though.” She sounded sad. [...]
“You do, baby.” Castiel smiled, feeling the water gather in his eyes. Jude was far less reserved, breaking into large sobs around muttered ‘really?’s. Castiel laughed, “Really, I’ll pick you up first thing in the morning and take you home with me.”
“I want to go now.”

I just sort of feel like I'm falling apart never mind the terrible delay. And I do believe this is the first piece of Supernatural fanfiction I've ever read so there's that.
