Home for the Holidays
I haven't updated for a while because well...it was finals week. I think I went into some kind of trance last week of academia. If I was a dick or a condesendinga-hole I am sorry...tests/grades make me crazy. I think I did anywhere from ok-great on all my finals, I guess I will just have to wait and see.
I came home Thursday night. I slept until dinner time, when Conor magically arrived. She spent the night and we watched "Bringing Out the Dead", this crazy movie about Nicholas Cage being a crazed ambulence driver...it's just nuts. Then we hung out all day Friday and hung out with Carmen for a bit. The three of us went to see "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" with my family. I totally nerded out. I think I win the prize for Narnia nerd of our little group. I thought it was perfectly enchanting and...hooves are hawt (you know what I mean). Then , after Carmen went home, Conor and I went to Milt's (this seedy karoke bar which Conor's posse frequents on the weekends). I had never been there and didn't really know anybody, so I was quiet for most of the evening. I kept accidently staring at this guy Travis (trying to figure out how certain events had conspired between him and another friend of mine). I felt like a wierdo , but I couldn't help myself. Anyway, in the end I ended up dancing with him and with his quiet cute little friend, Nick. I also got invited to Travis' apartment party tonight. Which I am going to with Conor and Juliann. Hopefully I will be able to talk more to these kids and maybe have a little bit more fun.
