I just hope that Angel won't do something stupid (he's very good at that sometimes), something that would destroy Dru's trust in Fred's word.
And I also hope that with Dru's warning about unasked presents and none of the Blue stuff will happen... Not that I don't like Illyria, I totally love her, it's just that Fred is so sweet...
Spike wonders. “I just want to know I’m doing the right thing” Drusilla has put Spike in a fix.
Strange meeting of a highly intelligent, logical woman and a child-like powerful demon. A splendid "woman power" speech by Fred but Dru is so unpredictable.
Putting Fred in the story started out half whim - I wanted to bring in another character since it couldn't just be Spike and Dru all the time and she seemed the most likely to notice Spike's absence from W&H. But I'm so glad I chose her, because she fills a much-needed role as a paragon of reason in a story about insanity.
Er... or that might be more response than you wanted or needed. So glad you liked! More soon!
So happy you used Fred to converse with Drusilla. Her critical, clinical thinking about Angel and Spike and Dru should bring a different view to the story. Both Spike and Angel are so emotionally charged. Dru is...well...insane. [Thanks to our high and mighty Angel[us]]
Dru's a peach! And she and Fred could be friends once she really has some control...and gets some psychiatric help!
Angel truly did a number on her. And I say Angel cuz it was him. He is Angelus through and through. Or else he would feel no guilt for the things someone else did.
Yeah, well, hence the stake-out. Which you are blowing with your neon white ass passing the window every twenty seconds. Sit down!” - This had me laughing because its funny and so much like Gunn. And it says something about his relationship with Spike here. He's comfortable around him. Like he was with Wes before all the crap. And he's not every gonna be PC or cautious with his words around his "friends".
The LA gang was much nicer to Spike in the end, weren't they.

I love Illyria, but it is a shame we have to get her at the expense of Fred. *sniffle*
Anyway - not givin' away the spoilers here!

I hope Dru's warning is enough to spare Fred.

And yes. Not buying the mulitple-personality schtick either. Angel. *glares at pointy-hair*.
Poor guy has a lot to face as concerns Dru.
