it's been a while~
I still come back and visit once in a while, in fact, news_jpop is on my google reader so I get public posts' updates regularly.
Was digging my old posts a while ago. I updated the filmography post. Seems like I still have quite a few dramas of NEWS's to catch-up on. Some of the old entries are fun.
So, it seems like I guessed right about where Shige went for his trip. I speak some Spanish and am in the mood of traveling, so I hoped that he could have taken me, but of course, how could he? XD I laughed so hard when I read the magazine article on Tegoshi in which he said he really wants to go to Barcelona and something about wanting to get a feel of the atmosphere there as they've won the World Cup or something. And... Shige went XD Oh, paellas, paellas are my love. Muy bueno~ well, why don't you say buenisimo? XD
NEWS Dome Concerts! Yay~ I'm glad they have group work again, but it's such bad timing for me. I probably cannot go. Tegomass's end of July/beginning of August concerts are perfect timing for me, but I don't dare to go due to financial reasons and a few tasks I have at hand. Hmm... but, I will go see you all one day!!! I promise myself that. Before then, please work hard! :D
It's summer vacation for me, I have a few jobs to do, but I did think of trying to translate a few things 'cause I haven't done so in quite a while. When I used to do it, that did help increase my understanding of Japanese. But seems like most things are regularly being translated so I probably need to research and see what I can try and do.
Chonmage Purin and Dare Kiss are finally going to be shown here. I signed up for the Dare Kiss showing organized by local fans. Hopefully it will happen as planned! It's been such a long wait!! Chonmage Purin looks so cute. I might go and watch it in theaters too. Suddenly there's so many movies I wanna see, but my wallet will get too thin if I go and see every one of them~ XD I promised myself I'd watch DareKiss as early as the time they were filming it, so I won't miss it!! Mirai-kun, I shall see you in theater soon! *determined* haha.
A while ago I was visiting a few old sites I used to go to... like Crunchyroll!! Seems like most of my online friends have left there. Teinna/aki... sorry for abandoning the group and not helping all this time! Also, I actually went to Malaysia a couple of weeks ago. I remember Aegis is from Malaysia, but we haven't talked in so long either. I wonder how Jess (funkycucumber) and blacque are doing now. Hey, I actually might be goign to Singapore next year. I don't know yet, but I hope so. ^^ Hopefully everyone is doing fine. Life is just life right? :) We'll get through somehow and perhaps wonderfully too!
NEWS, well, I am still NEWS's fan. I got to know NEWS at the time when they were being tested (on hiatus) and I being sad about always leaving people due to moving to different places. It was a time I really think being able to meet people and belong to a group is a blessing. Their debut was so sudden and so random that they could only start to get to know each other and learn to work with each other after the announcement of their debut. They have gone through some ups and downs together. I think it's really an amazing thing for them to meet and be together. I like the guys in NEWS. I like their personalities and how their personalities complement each other, so besides liking them for music, looks, and for the persons that they are and whatever, I also follow them and support them because in my heart, I hope a group such as theirs would stay strong together and support each other. I also support them partly for my own purposes, I think. So, ganbatte! Even though you'll look like ants to people sitting at the top of the domes, I hope your passion and love reaches them nonetheless. :)
