One of the things I had promised myself once we got an on call rotation at work was to start taking classes and doing things I wanted to to instead of staying home just in case there was an emergency. I really was starting to feel like a work hostage!
So I did it! I'd tried to find classes in the past, but none of them ever panned out. My sister's boyfriend suggested a class at Tsada over in South Side. The instructor is super down to earth, sometimes serious, and often funny. It's going to take a while to learn the form. I'm OK with that. I'm just glad to finally be doing it.
Hoop folks - you know how after you hoop dance you feel all warm and happy inside? I get that same feeling from Tai Chi, and it seems to last longer.
