The Ice Queen & Her Fire King

Jun 29, 2011 14:29

 She makes the snow fall
With frozen tears
She's ignored her love's call
For all these long years

She finds comfort in cold,
A chill to the bone,
A sliver of hope--
He says he loves her.

His touch burns.
She leaves frostbitten skin;
he leaves blisters on her.
Neither of them can win.

Fire and ice,
sunshine and snow
But the Ice Queen won't let
her Fire King go.

Ice on her fingertips
Fire in his hair.
A force of destruction
They bring chaos everywhere.

Burns and blisters,
frozen in time.
As long as he loves her,
she'll stay by his side.
