DISPLACE ME
WHO: Everyone and anyone who would like to help spread awareness about displaced children around the world.
WHAT: Displace me is an event held in various major cities around the world. People who are interested in helping the cause gather at these locations and live for one day with nothing but a cardboard box and some crackers to get a feel for the lifestyle millions of children around the world experience every day.
WHY: To spread the word about the harsh brutalities and inhuman treatment displaced children are forced to endure every day. We will be writing letters to senators and speaking with people on the street, plus more activities.
WHEN: 4/28/07 from 3PM TO 10 AM
WHERE: At a major city near you. For all of those in the Bay, San Francisco is hosting one.
