December is COLD.

Dear World,

I have been very busy lately. Charlotte Russe is kicking my ass. Wednesdays and Fridays have turned into 15-hour days, because of the double shift with my day job and my night job. Somehow I'm not quite as tired as I should be, so all is well for now. And the two paychecks are pretty sweet.

I've started to catch up on my bills a lot sooner than I anticipated. And that makes me very happy. I never realized just how much stress all these bills were causing until I started paying them off.

So conclusion - long days, but worth it.

Things are picking up pretty quickly at Providence too, even though we're on holiday starting next Wednesday. We need to hire like 10 new tutors, and quickly! So I have group interviews scheduled for early next week, and I anticipate some good results from that.

We also need an assistant to start in January, when I begin my new project with the Make Mealtime Family Time program. I am very excited about this.

We have a potential new client for tutoring as well, which means even MORE tutors to hire. It's all exciting because lots of new stuff is happening. Christmas chose a very poor time to come this year; I wish we could keep the office open and get some stuff done. But I suppose I may need a little break too...

Things seem okay with Russ, although we're still trying to find that balance of seeing each other enough without spending too much time together. The roles have switched, however, since this whole semester was me having way more time than him, and now that his finals are over, he's the one planning around my crazy schedule. For example, we've been trying to find a time to go to Costco (romantic, I know) this whole week, and we still haven't been able to find a time... maybe next week. I need more chicken.

Because of this new busy schedule, I haven't been able to squeeze gym time in as often. I've been going maybe twice a week, but somehow I lost 3 pounds. I hope it's not all muscle mass.

And the hot tub at the gym is awesome.

It's time for the Providence XMAS Party. Yay!

Love
Mel.
