most of it was really up to me

In every introduction to the humanities (IHUM) class it's fabled that there is an IHUM BOY/GIRL, who is the one who loves to read ahead, enthusiastically quotes Kierkegaard, loves to argue for the sake of arguing, etc. So in my discussion we have our IHUM GIRL who some have no doubt heard me ranting of before, and yesterday (whilst hating my life) I heard her asking around to borrow a pencil. Sort of wanting to lift my mood and somewhat so that another person would not hate their life that day I offered her one of mine. She said, "That would be great, thanks!"

After lecture I watched her. She dropped her notebook into the bag ... and then the pencil. OH HAYL NAW. I wasn't really THAT mad though, moreso curious about whether she would remember to return it or not. I'm giving her until today's discussion to OFFER me my pencil back and if she does not deliver the goods I will raise so much hell.
