Community Announcement
First of all, the way voting/winners is done is going to be changed here. From now on, a sort of points system will be used here. Votes will be weighed, as is done at many communities. Each time an icon gets a first place vote, it'll receive 3 points, each time it receives a second place vote, it'll receive 2 points, and each time it receives a third place vote, it'll receive 1 point. Each icon will get a certain amount of points depending on how voting turns out, and, I'll tally the votes and the icon with the most points will receive First Place, and the icon with the second most points will receive Second Place, and so on. I probably explained this in a difficult way, but really, it's how most communities do tallying. I'm not going to have you guys vote on this, because this is something I've decided for the community. It's fairer, and, it should help decrease the amount of ties.
Second, I'd like to have you guys vote on this next concern of mine. Would you guys rather entries be screened? I never saw a use in screening entries, because, if someone's going to vote for an icon just because they know their friend made it, there are other ways of doing it, other than just looking at the unscreened entries. So, if you guys agree that screening entries aren't really necessary, would you maybe like to try how whedonosity and now lit_icons have people enter their icons? Have you guys make a post to the community with your icons? Fill out this poll to let me know.

And finally, banners. You've all probably noticed that I've been slacking with the banners. The last challenges we need banners from are challenge 69..so..yeah, I slacked. But hey, I was pretty dedicated with making banners for the first 69 challenges. But, anyways. I can't make banners, sorry. So, we have a few options here. Is anyone willing to go back through like..the last 20 challenges and make banners for those who asked for them? If anyone would be willing to do that, I'd be greatful. And then, we'll need a banner maker here. Someone who, after the winners are posted, will make banners for those who asked for them. Otherwise, the hellmouth will have to continue without rewarding banners, sorry. :(
