I HAS NEW LAYOUT!!!!!!!

I kinda have my life back! For all the worst reasons.
My concerto was canceled for this Fall. Good news is, it's been moved to the Spring (at least, this is what I've been lead to believe and will elaborate on once I get more information). I am still applying for graduate schools. My #1 choice was SF Conservatory, but my teacher wants me to go study with a new teacher, which makes sense (he works both there and at my school). Argh. My life starting Oct was basically consumed by various things. Papers. Preparing for a CD recording to sent to grad schools. Rehearsing and getting my concerto ready to play... next Tuesday (which is no longer happening). All of a sudden... it all stopped. My papers were done, my CD was made (we ended up using my senior recital music, wtfbbq), and my concerto canceled. It's a weird feeling. I gave up all my weekends, holidays, hang-outs, time with friends, time for hobbies, myself, Thanksgiving for... almost nothing. What I AM walking away with is a ton of practice achieved, and rehearsals with an orchestra hahahaha. With a super out of tune orchestra that can't follow the conductor. ;((((( The most suckage is that I somehow have to tell ALL the people who planned to come to my concerto that it's no longer happening. That sucks. the. most. Especially for my mom, and friends who took time off of work to plan to come see it. I'm really sorry ;_;
Somehow, I feel like I was just super spoiled to have time for myself, and this type of lifestyle is what I should be living to become better at violn. Idk anymore. My head hurts from all the applications I've been filling out. I'm not telling where because I'm embarrassed to say. I'll tell if I get in.
With this anti-climactic end to my semester, I bid you all hello. I have returned. Hahahahaha. Now I need to run home for I have to wake up in 5 hours to go rush-mail my failed grad school application CDs.
