Update from Germany!!
I got here in one piece! I enjoyed all the plane rides here, the take-offs, landings, turbulence, and best of all... free movies!! I watched Ratatouille and Alice in Wonderland. I tried to watch Percy Jackson and the Olympians since it was free and I wanted to see if it was any good... but I really couldn't get past the first 10 minutes.
I met this kind old lady at the Munich airport on the way to Nurnberg, and it turned out she was from Sulzbach-Rosenberg! We talked while waiting for the airplane, and sat next to each other on the plane hahaha. She was so funny. By the time I went to sleep after arriving in Sulzbach-Rosenberg, I realized I'd been awake for about 56 hours. I was definitely hallucinating toward the end!
Yesterday, we toured Regensburg, and it was great! I took so many pictures. I was so excited to see all the old buildings and hundreds of years of history and mythohlogy attached to it. We even saw the original building where the folktale of Rapunzel came from! Then we went down the Blue Danube on a boat... amazing. We'll be going to Nurenberg next~!
Last of all, the food here is AMAZING. OMFG OMFGGG. I eat like 2-3 plates and am getting SO FAT. I only eat 1-2 small meals usually, but here it's like 3 full meals with lots of helpings. I can't help itttt it's SO DELICIOUS. I keep bothering the chef to find out what sort of food he makes us, and he responds in a flurry of German that I don't understand at all hahahaha.
The pillows here in Germany are so huge. they take up like half the bed.
