I want to come back to reality
One week before recital! So not ready.
I've holed up at school with no contact with anything BUT violin. It kind of sucks, because I haven't sewed, drawn, gone out or done anything really except practise. I can do ittttt! *tear*
I've also had many interesting things happen at school. I performed as part of a group at Mondavi, Chico State (so I HAVE gone out, I guess), I had my teacher yell at me until I ran out crying, I fought with a friend in the middle of rehearsal and made-up (and for some reason, we're getting along better than before), I had the most intensive week where three concerts all bunched up on the same weekend and I kid you not I was having 7 rehearsals a day. I had one day where I had rehearsals in the morning, class during the day, then somehow got stuck playing non-stop from 5:30pm-1:30am. I really have no clue as to how that happened. The badtimes continued when I had to be back at school by 8am next day, (which was the day I had 5 rehearsals, 4 coachings, one student, and tons of practising I was somehow supposed to accomplish). RRRR. Then I had a fight when my friend hahaha.
That's my short, omissive report of "I'm-not-dead-yet". I haven't had time to go online (other than to check my emails) so I have no idea what is going on in the outside world AHJHJH. I only slept 2.5 hours last night and had such a crappy day full of rehearsals. I need to sleep more tonight so I can play better tomorrows.

I didn't know this, but the violinists who played in teh Sherlock Holmes soundtrack were Aleksey Igudesman and Vanessa Mae! AHHHH

If you don't know Aleksey Igudesman, he's part of a famous classical music comedy duo called 'Igudesman and Joo' who are absolutely hilarious <3 They've done a series of skits called "A little nightmare music" and another called "Sebastian The cyber conductor" hahaha. Their most famous (which any classical musician is sure to have seen):
