BLACK MATH RETURNS TO THE HOUSTON CHRONICLE AND HELIOS
Greetings from The Black Math Experiment,
In late 2004, BME wrote a song called “You Cannot Kill David Arquette”, which later appeared on our album
Fake Words and Signs From Space. Maybe you’ve heard it? Well, you wouldn’t be alone. After a year of searching, BME was able to get in touch with Mr. Arquette, who was so impressed by the piece that he decided to gift us with gourmet cupcakes. You can read the entire story in tomorrow’s edition (09/07) of The Houston Chronicle. Be sure to check out HC reporter Joey Guerra’s
blog to hear the track, as well as a selection from our upcoming album, Last Transmission from the Blue Room.
BME is pleased to announce that we’ll be returning to our former home of
Helios for a show on Saturday September 16, 2006 with
Avenger and
Oneness Darkness (which features occasional BME fill in Roy Rodriguez on drums). It’s been five months since BME has headlined a show in Houston, and we have missed you. Mark your calendars, it’s gonna be a hullabaloo.
