Possibly because I am having a brief phase of woe and aaall byyy myseeelff, because despite it being lovely weather and a long weekend to laze about and sit in the garden, it would be much nicer with company ( Read more... )

...he is STILL not talking to you? Fuck's SAKE. CHILD. (Possibly because he knows rightly he was a dick and doesn't want to admit it?)

Hello it is GREY and WINDY here. and a whole 12 degrees. Not all things about the Far North are good. (But you should still visit me before I move south!)

I miss lj. Tumblr is shiny but CONVERSATIONS hard. Twiter ditto. C'mon, fandom etc., find a more text-based platform again soooon.

Was asked at swimming this morining WHY things are happening in Belfast. One day I will find a one-sentence response? (Have you seen this amazing - in both a good photographic way and a bad everything-else way - picture in the Tele?)

Still shunned... J. tried getting in touch a few times until he was told not to, so nothing much more we can do really. Am Respecting His Boundaries as they would say in Captain Awkward land (had to v strongly resist temptation to send him an African Violet at one point ;p) and mostly it is ok, but the last few years I've gone up to theirs for the 12th so it just hit again yesterday...

When DO you go? Would be lovely to get up for more exploring!
I miss the lj conversations too, tumblr is grand for pretty pictures, but terrible for actual conversation having (and i still haven't figured out how most of it works)

Woke up to that picture. May have laughed a LOT. Also the Dodds thing, am going to hell, but this bit in particular caused genuine LOLs last night -

"He was unlucky because he was also hit by water cannon as I was trying to administer first aid and he got soaked," he added. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-23295307

Wait wait wait - is he ALSO not talking to J? Or was J attempting to act as a go-between? Either way, wtfery reigns.

About Christmas, or shortly thereafter. Eep.

Ahaha, I may have also snickered as I was reading that this AM.

Not talking to J either, for not defending him against my terrible slanders. Or something. Don't really know because he won't talk to tell us...

...there is something up with his head, I reckon. Because who the fuck stops talking to the man they made BEST MAN because he didn't take his side in this one argument instead of thinking, hmm, perhaps I was being A N Dickhead last night in my cups? Never mind that you have yeled at him for Reasonable Reasons many a time before and he has at least not taken the hump even if he didn't actually get your point. Very sad. I would say his loss, but clearly it is also crap for you (and J!). Can't imagine Wee E is enjoying it much either.

TOO SOON TOO SOON WHAT ABOUT THE PEST WOE ETC. Am focusing on the part where it will be easier/cheaper to travel to Abroad etc. and on the exciting proximity of cinemas, theatres, arty things, many pubs etc. (and also therapists).

yeah there is obviously Something Else going on with him and we just got the brunt of it I think. but it sucks. Hear v little from e. now because (understandably) she doesn't want to be stuck in the middle of it, but still feels like i've lost 2 friends not just one...

will you be able to bring Pest? or is he mostly an outdoor/farm cat type with occasional burst of domesticity? Still the access to various facilities and travel will be good!

Oh man. I hope he manages to sort out whatever it is, if only for his own sake. Not that you or J are required to be okay with that if he comes on back all sheepish like one day...

He is a very outside cat, especially in the summer, no matter how much he loves to lie on a human and be petted. I think making him inside-only (in a flat) would be cruel, and at my mum's place he would get himself run over within the week given how little traffic he sees (plus the mother is asthmatic and allergic, and Other Brother is SUPER allergic, and we don't know how Martha feels about cats as a species but she has chased one out the garden with much barking already). SO I will have to leave him behind but he looooooooooves meeeeeeee. And I think he is cute and secretly have become v v v attached to the wee monster. I know next door will feed him, but if he won't learn to go inside WHO WILL PET HIM AND DEFLEA HIM AND SKRITCH HIS EARS???? Also I will miss him. :( :( :( :( He is very furry! And the purring and climbing on me is quite soothing.)
