Dear Everyone Obsessed with the Twilight Series:
I simply can't understand pop-culture fascination with poorly written, misogynistic, relationship abuse/patriarchy promoting, crappy, thoughtless fiction. I read Twilight and the whole thing read to me like the fantasies implanted into LDS girls with one twist: instead of the beautiful, immaculate return missionary, the romantic interest is an "articulate" vampire with a nice car. It sickens me that this slop is receiving so much attention and earning so much money for effectively lowering the standards of what passes as creative writing. I feel like my IQ has significantly dropped upon reading this bullshit.
Furthermore, BYU should not be an accredited institution (or taken seriously by anyone).
Quit drinking the kool-aid. Read comic books instead.
