War

This is in response to a lot of crap I've seen floating around. :P

The united nations needs to grow some balls, and be what they claim to be - a UNITED group of nations. They need to enforce their own rules if they want to be taken seriously. Saddam has had 12 years to disarm, and he's done everything but comply to the rulings.

Because the UN refuses to live up to its own rulings, and because they really don't care that Saddam poses a threat to the world, we've had to step up and take matters into our own hands.

Don't get me wrong - I hate the idea of war - but somtimes there is simply no other choice.

Very recently the people of Iraq - less afraid to speak in light of current events - say they're waiting for the USA to fight and bring them liberty.

This war should be much less scary to them than day to day life in Iraq.

When women leave hospitals with their newborn baby, they're instruced how to put an oxygen mask over the kid in case there's a nerve gas test by Saddam - like the time he decided to test it's potency against thousands of his own people.

When their local soccer team lost, Saddam's son had them arrested, and they were tortured by having the bottom of their feet slowly burned - they couldn't play soccer for a while.

Saddam often kills the messengers who are unlucky enough to bring him bad news.

Saddam uses civilians as shields.

Very recently, one of his advisors said something Saddam disagreed with - so he cut off the guys tongue and nailed it to the wall as an example.

He is a threat to the innocent people of Iraq, he is a threat to the middle east, and if he's allowed to grow in power any further, he will be a threat to the world. Do we need more innocent people to die by his hands? I think not.
