[A short young woman backs through a door, her arms full of paperwork and files. She stops dead just as the door swings shut behind her, looking a little confused.]

[So much for that paperwork. She'll get it later, busy pouncing Dante now.]

[pffft who cares about paperwork really. he welcomes this pouncing happily and hugs her back, swinging her about a bit. minding his strength of course!]

It's been a while! How've you been?

[Selphie can totally take it, she's a big girl. Er, sort of. The swinging earns a burst of giggles.]

I'm good! I was stuck in a weird limbo for forever, and I only just got home recently! I missed you~!

[devilinred]

Oh man, I know how being stuck in limbo feels like. I missed you too! [sets her down, grinning. ... and then he notices the papers on the floor.]

... oh. whoops. You were carrying something?

[booyaka_baby]

Eh, yeah. Some mission reports. Super boring stuff that had to be turned in to my commander. [Pfff, she blows at her bangs. They look like they need a bit of a trim.]

[devilinred]

Oh, lame! Hey, least you don't have to bother with that now. ... and when was the last time you got your hair cut? [... Dante always looks like he needs a trim, he has no right to talk. hypocrite.]

[booyaka_baby]

Yeah, but when I get back I'll still have to turn it in, you know. Otherwise I'll get in trouble~!

Um....before Template? So it's been a really super long while! I could probably trim my bangs myself if I can get some scissors.

[devilinred]

That's true enough. Guess we should pick it up then.

Jeez, I'm kind of surprised you can still see. [grin.] There's bound to be some scissors somewhere.

Sounds like a good idea.

I can see just fine! [She parts her bangs with a finger, peeking out at him.] See? Besides, I look super cute with the hairclips in!

[devilinred]

[starts picking up the paperwork.]

Are you sure? How many fingers am I holding up? [holds up two fingers -- no five -- three...] I'm sure you do.

[booyaka_baby]

Of course! [She mimics the fingers back at him in rapid succession, then gives him a playful swat on the shoulder for good measure as she crouches to pick up the files.]

Damn! Foiled again! [he just laughs at the swat, grinning happily. between the two of them the papers are quickly picked up and he hands his pile to her.]

There we go. Hopefully we didn't step on any accidentally.

I'll just say there was an accident in the hallway. Considering some of the underclassmen, it wouldn't be much of a stretch.

[She collects her pile, resting it on her knees for now.] So since this looks like a dorm or an apartment complex or something, does this mean I get a room of my own?

They're a rambunctious bunch, I'm guessing?

Yep! It's basically pick and claim here. What's not taken is yours to take.

Pretty much! They like to keep Squall on his toes. Mostly by accident.

Hmmm~! So many choices! I'll have to take a poll, see if anyone doesn't mind a roomie. Or maybe I could get a place all to myself~! That'd certainly be something new.
