Shopping! oh YAY!
Went shopping with my family today. We missed a lot of the after christmas goodies since a hell of a lot of people must have bought out the stores the day before. Sheesh! But we all got what we wanted regardless.
My brother picked out the bike he wanted and it's now on layaway until we find the funds to buy it.
Dad got binoculars with the gift card brother and I gave to him.
I got five new shirts that I can go clubbing in as well as use for just going to class and such. There was one I really wanted since it would look great with my tether pants but it was 44 dollars and there is no way I was going to pay that much for one shirt no matter how pretty it was. With any luck it should still be around when they have another sale in January. Unless a whole lot of bondage queens happen to run in the store and buy them all before I go back there. *sigh*
Mom got an exercise bike, but it's going to be a 'is she really going to use it or is it going to just be a dust collector like the other ones are now?' kind if thing.
It's sad to say, but every time my mom has this brainstorm that she's going to go work out, she buys new equipment but then never uses it. My brother and I are more inclined to go downstairs and use it than she is. But it could be the whole change of life thing she's going through, so I won't say too much when it becomes another dust collector and just use it myself. ^_^;
It snowed all day while we were gone. The brother wanted to go sledding at 8 o'clock at night behind the house where it's pitch black and one could easily crash into the barn. After pointing out said incident of crashing with a boom into very sturdy, solid barn, the child thought better of it and decided to eat cheese and crackers and watch TV instead. Very smart move child. Very smart indeed.
