Wedding day for the people at SB!
Work was fun last night. Setting up for the wedding last night wasn't though.
This is the first time in the three years I've worked at SB that we have a Friday wedding. But they wanted the wedding outside in the field and were helping decorate the restaurant so who am I to complain.
Especially when the servers and I saw there weren't any linens on the tables or left to decorate the tables for the wedding today. Luckily though, we got the tables set up and the silverware rolled and the servers went in at 2 pm today to put the linens on. I have to go in a couple of minutes, but I only have to help clear tables, do dishes, and help set up the food areas. The non-fun or interesting part is going to be the standing around until the people are finished eating and drinking, and the clean-up afterwards.
Of course, seeing my lovely Steven do his old man skit and pretending he's riding a broom around the kitchen might just fix the bordom.
