I needed a 2nd opinion but i knew thats what i'd get...
K so the movie, one word... SCRUMTRALESCENT.
Was worried that the director would screw it up like a lot of other movies and remakes of shows and other movies but this was true to the origional play. Christina looked like a beautiful lil french girl someone and i know, the songs were great, special effects were good and not too overboard to take place in old time paris. The only complaint is A) The phantoms singing voice could have used some work, sounds like he was straining and shouting more then being the mysterious shadow Micheal Crawford was, also the face wasnt deformed enough for my test, i want to see GORE for his face. Seeing the movie though and the way it opened gave me goose bumps being a fan of this play since probably 2nd grade when in my music class my teacher played us the song as we read the lyrics to it and started my love for this play. Maybe cuz i related to the phantom when i was younger and stuff but thats another story and i dont know enough of you to get into details about my childhood. Go see the movie though its completely worth it, i'll probably see it 2 or maybe three more times before it leaves theaters, nothing like the sound system in the theater hearing phantom... As you can tell from my last entry compared to this one i'm in a better mood, i wasnt today untill around 9:30pm when someone called and, well, just talking to that person makes me smile. I bid you all goodnight...
