Okay. So. A few notes; sorry there hasn't been much updating on Hell Week life -- but people, people, it's Hell Week and it's got that name for a reason.
Thursday, I got to be a whorey-whorey denizen of my dorm, Pem East. (We apparently dress as whores because there's a blatantly untrue myth that Pem East was a brothel in WWII.) And it was a successful whorey-whorey-whore look, too. I delivered flowers to one of Meredith's classes, and serenaded a friend of hers in Orgo Lab. (It was supposed to be Shakespearian, but it went more like "Oh, shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Well, actually, it's winter, so I'll compare thee to a winter's day. You're a lot less cold and clammy and rainy than today. Although it's begun to be sunny again. Perhaps you are like the sun as it is coming out and making things warmer today! Anyway." Thursday was Erdman performances, during which Ilana and I sang Build Me Up Buttercup to great success :D We had an Athena's Circle compulsory Hell Week Circle Dance, and it was hot. And then Dorm Trials (DOOOM), wherein I was tried for liking anime too much, and sentenced to speak in Japanese every time someone mentioned anime, all day Friday.
Speaking of which, Friday, I dressed up as Alice in Wonderland, and sang "The Wheels On The Bus" with Anna on the Blue Bus. Until we realized we didn't remember more than three verses D:.... HaverClasses were normal, 'cause Haverford is Hell-Free. Then I had Confinement, where I watched most of Fight Club with Christina, and it was OMG-SO-AMAZING. We all went down to Goodhart Performances, wherein Jill, Ilana and Marina were the eternal hotness of hotness in doing "Firefly Pilot Episode in Under Three Minutes". (IT WAS LOVE.) Pimp Strut kindof sortof made me die of its hotness. We had Bedtime Stories, which were supersuper cute from the Seniors.
and then... urgh. Saturday dawned bright and early, and by that I mean I was awake to see Saturday dawn bright and early. Awake and covered in Duck Pond. Which is gross, cold, full of geese and frosh, and did I mention cold? (If I die of pneumonia tomorrow, you'll know why, won't you!)
And added insult to injury by crashing the Shipley Middle School dance >DD and getting very.. er, "enthusiastic" teenage boys as new friends. Pffff. Shipley is a funny, funny land.
But Sunday is the true Hell. Plenary. Bryn Mawr's annual Student Governance Assosciation reaffirmation of... governy stuff. Which requires a quorum of warm bodies at all times to function. So I spent eight and a half hours in Goodhart Hall today, listening to resolutions and babbling and then MORE RESOLUTIONS. *twitch*.
At least I got most of the day to not have anything Hell Week-y happen to me. *boogie*.
