I was more of a 'refuse to drink anything at all until bribed/bullied/put on a drip' child, but in retrospect I think it kept my parents on their toes.

Ginger wine + rum sounds delicious. I want to give Camille some.

But he liked wine and absolutely adored coffee; their flat was full of coffee pots and stuff. (We know this because it was inventoried AFTER THEY DIED.) So, you know, I'm on board with that.
