remember when...
Sometime ago i showed you pics of will smith's I am legend? well the movie is done and the trailer is up on apple. i actually decided to read the book since they were making the movie of it and i was curious because it involves vampires. so the book is actually really short, the story is also like not really action packed exciting. Like the main guy robert lives in a suburbs alone in a house and he's really in the house alot and in the morning he doesn't do very much either. he like goes around to other ppls houses and if he sees a vampire he stabs them and when he's home hes protected has a generator and all that good stuff. basically he has a curfew and if he passes it, he would "die" basically it was an okay book but it would become a terrible movie. So i actually became more curious of how they would make it and why where they filming in NYC. so if you watch the trailer you find that will smith doesn't have a house to livein he's just wandering the streets of NY so it makes him more susceptible to attack. which makes a very exciting movie. also..... i don't really think he's going to be fighting off any old vampire. in the book vampires were actually just ppl who have been affected by this bacteria which for some reason robert is immune to. in the trailer, will smith's world is actually literally getting attacked with missles and stuff. I'm curious what that part is all about. However, for sure the story in the book is much more sadder. In the story he actually watches his wife and his daughter die. Actually i'm pretty sure he killed his wife of course when she was in full vampire form. also he's becomes really lonely and in the movie he had a dog and in the book he meets a dog who's too afraid of him that he couldn't actually keep him as a pet. one day he finds the dog injured so he basically takes him by force into the house. the dog was too scared and too injured that he died in his arms. like he was literally alone. will smith's character at least had a dog to spend time with and who will probably evetually die. Its interesting how they adapted and change the screen play. this also makes me wonder what they are going to do with the time travelers wife
